The one with a 7G tray

For the booth at Mega Meet, one of the featured manufacturers was 7 Gypsies. I love their products but they are not usually my style. I decided to make an altered tray for the booth...

And I love how it turned out!!! I left it at the store so it will be there on display for a while... but I have a spot picked out for it in my living room when I get to bring it home.

The top corner with the banner is my favorite :)

Once I started to get into the project I found so many cool embellishments that I could use. The stamps are from an older line Making Memories- Passport.

The little jar of bead. I wanted to fill it with sand....but I didn't have any available. I may switch it out later.

Now that I have done one.... I may be addicted to them. I think I want to make a white one with wedding photos in it!!!!

The one with a lot of Cosmo

Better late than never... but I thought I would share some of the layouts I made super last minute for Mega Meet.
I used two lines both from Cosmo Cricket - Social club is a really cool mix of modern and vintage feel. I used pictures from a night out at our favorite local restaurant!
This next layout I photographed before I added the title... oops :) I added red letters - the name of the restaurant 'Frying Fish'.

This place was so cool - and we had such a fun time trying different kinds of sushi!

This last layout is super simple (time restricted!!)... but its Cosmo Cricket paper as well. It mixes great with the Social club papers as well.

I love this picture of my grandfather fishing on his boat! He loved to fish and we would always go out on his boat when we went to visit.

If you haven't been into Scrappy Chic in a while you definetly need to check out all the new stuff coming in. New Echo Park and Thickers too!!!

The one with the cute kitties...

This week our little Maya got her front paws de-clawed..... and it was about time! She was scratching our furniture, scratching up our hands and attacking Babe. When she got home she had to wear this collar so she didn't lick her paws :(

Still so cute!!!

Its been raining again her all weekend.... so we did a lot of hanging out.....
Now that Maya doesn't have claws she has been a lot nicer to Babe. They love to sit together on the couch when we are watching tv. Not a very exciting weekend around here! Hopefully we will get some sunshine next weekend!!!

The one with a party

I love this line from Cosmo Cricket... the bright colors and graphic prints are just perfect for some pool photos. The line is about a year old and I have been holding on to it for just the right photos. When I came across these old photos at my aunts pool I thought I would pull out this line...
I went super simple and kept with the graphic feel of the prints.

I used a couple different thickers for the title and a few mini primas!

I started this post a couple weeks ago but I have been too busy to post it.... I hope to finally get some of my new projects from Mega Meet uploaded this weekend!!!

We have plans to play a lot of golf this weekend --- but the weather is not cooperating! It has rained every day for the last few weekends and it looks like it will be no different today. Hope you have a great weekend!

The one with a lot of journaling

Wow! Things have been so busy - my poor blog has been neglected the past couple weeks.
I have been working long hours on a new project at work and scrapbooking up a storm for this past weekend's Mega Meet. I have lots of new projects to show coming soon :) I just need to find the time to upload the pictures.

A couple weeks ago I had a fun scrappy night where I did a bunch of layouts just for me.... not for any design team. I have wanted to scrap this photo for a while.... its not great quality but there were so many stories that I would think of when I saw it I wasn't sure what way to go with it.

My solution....... to do a ton of journaling! Love how it turned out.

A close up of some of the details.

I had a blast this past Saturday working at Mega Meet in the Scrappy Chic booth with Chris, Angela and Chris' mom Linda. Check out the blog for a cute photo of us all with some ice cream that Linda was so nice to get for us... it was the perfect ending to a fun day!
